“Gauguin” forms part of my lockdown series and is a limited edition of 100 Giclee prints.

As these unprecedented times have prevented me from practicing the usual expression of my work, screen printing, I have been experimenting in a range of different media and producing a series original pieces

In particular I have been making a lot of acrylic pantings. I love acrylic, the immediacy of it. It forces you to work fast and I love how you can play with the merging of colour and layering and am enjoying evolving my style which when I get back into the studio I will look to bring back to screen printing through mono print!

This piece is called "Gauguin" and is my homage to one of my all time favourites, the legendary and very dapper Paul Gauguin. I like to work in an expressive a fast paced style that conveys character and humour.

The original painting has now sold but is now available as a limited edition Giclee print on archival quality (FSC approved) 310gsm matt Hahnemuehle German Etching paper.

I will produce 100 copies only and each is signed and numbered on the front.

This print is available in A3 size and is supplied unframed.
